How much does this cost? Is there a monthly fee?
Pulse.to works on credits. All new users automatically receive 25 credits just for trying the service. Each message delivered to a mobile handset uses one credit, and credit packages can be purchased for as little as $5 for 100 credits! And there are NO automatic recurring monthly charges. You only buy credits when YOU want them!
If I pulse to a group that includes 40 people, does that count against my carrier text plan as 40 text messages or one?
Just one! Each pulse you send (no matter how many people are part of the Pulse) counts as a single text to the Pulse server. The Pulse server then sends the message to all members of the Pulse – instantly!
I have friends and family that live in another country. Can I Pulse them?
Absolutely! One of the great things about Pulse.to is that there are no boundaries and you can easily send messages across the globe. If the country has a mobile phone network, chances are we'll reach it!

How do I Pulse?
on our website. From there, create as many Pulses as you want. Once your friends accept your Pulse invitation, which will arrive as a text on their mobile phone, you can pulse from the website or your phone.
To pulse from your mobile phone, text the following:

I want to make sure my friends know the Pulse number so they recognize it when the invite and Pulse messages come through. Can you remind me what the numbers are?

How many people can I invite to participate in my Pulse?
Unlike other group messaging services, there is no limit to the number of people who can participate in your Pulse!
I know as the Pulse creator I can send messages to the Pulse, but can the members of the Pulse also send messages?
That's entirely up to you. As the Pulse owner, you can choose whether or not Pulse members can send messages.
When you create your Pulse, you’ll see a question that asks, “Who can text to the Pulse?” Simply select “All members of the Pulse can text the Pulse” or “Only I can text to this Pulse” depending on your preference. If you already set up your Pulse and want to make sure that setting is selected, or if you want to change the setting, just visit the Settings area in My Pulses to confirm.
I want to make sure my Pulse is accessible only to the people I invite. Is that possible?
Yes! When you create your Pulse, you’ll see a question that asks, “Who can join the Pulse?” Simply select “Only people I invite” and you’re all set. If you already set up your Pulse and want to make sure that setting is selected, visit the Settings area in My Pulses to confirm.
I want anyone to be able to join my Pulse! Can I make sure that is possible?

Will I be spammed?
We take spamming very seriously and have a number of safeguards to prevent spam. If you feel that you have seen unsolicited spam on the Pulse network, please email us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I received a text from someone I don't know. What should I do?
If the text you received was inviting you to a Pulse, and you do not know the person, you can ignore it or call the sender’s number included on the text. If you do not accept the invite by replying “OK,”, you will not be added to the Pulse.
I don't want to be a part of a Pulse anymore. How can I stop it?
You can text “LEAVE pulsename” to the Pulse number to remove yourself from a Pulse .
For example, to remove yourself from 'JohnsPulse', text "Leave JohnsPulse".
I keep receiving texts even though I did not accept any Pulse invites. How do I stop this?
This should not happen However,if the texting persists, email us at email@example.com and include your mobile phone number. We will remove you immediately. We do not accept spamming of any kind and will investigate and shut down any offending Pulse accounts as necessary.
Can I use any name for my Pulse?
Pulse names must be 4-20 characters and cannot include spaces or special characters. Additionally, Pulse names must be unique to the Pulse.to community. Outside of those stipulations, you can name your Pulse whatever you like. Just as with domain names, however, you should be careful using registered trademarks. Although we do not actively monitor Pulse names, if we receive notice of trademark infringement, we will be forced to close the offending Pulse.
